Mind – A flying squadron devotes a serious amount of time, effort, and dollars to training. Many professions require a great deal skill, and some like cardiac surgeons, are high stakes if performed poorly. Flying fighters are similarly high stakes, and because we play for keeps, we track hundreds of currencies from landing to shooting the 20mm cannon. Performance matters, and high performance requires lots of high level frequent practice, hence why we track currencies. Your body and mind are no different. If you want to perform at a high level you must maintain your currencies. How can you apply this to everyday? We have heard the old adage “use it or lose it”, pick your days, follow LIKEAFIGHTERPILOT.COM and track your workout days.  Shoot for at least 3 days a week of doing something! Try the wingman workout, I generally try to make it a 15-20 minute workout.

AJAX’s Pot Roast
2-3lb Pot Roast
1 can Cambell’s French Onion Soup
5-10 new potatos
1 medium yellow onion
Salt and Pepper
Place frozen roast in slow cooker.  Pour soup over roast.  Add halved potatoes and quartered onion.  Roast for 8-10 hours.  Serve with peas.
